  • Current position:

  • Postdoctoral Fellow (2016-2019) in Developmental Psychology at Indiana University working primarily with Drs. Linda Smith and Chen Yu. I also developed an ongoing and exciting collaboration with Dr. Bennett Bertenthal.

  • Ph.D (2016) in Cognitive and Information Sciences at the University of California, Merced, with Dr. Christopher Kello (and lots of other awesome researchers!)

  • M.S. (2012) in Quantitative Psychology and Cognitive/Behavioral Science at Illinois State University with Dr. Jeff Wagman.

Luke Armao (Graduate Student: Philosophy, Cognitive Science, and Artificial Intelligence): Luke plans to attend a Ph.D. program to study cognition, attention, and perception.

Christopher Bell (Graduate Student: Psychology): Chris is interested in studying how motor skills develop in infants and toddlers.

Brooke Bergeron (Undergraduate Research Assistant: Psychology, Mathematics): Brooke plans to attend medical school to pursue a career as a pediatric neurologist.

Sara Ashley Collins (Undergraduate Research Assistant: Psychology): Sara plans to attend graduate school to study the effects of mental health disorders in parents on childhood development.

Eliana Gelman (Undergraduate Research Assistant: Cognitive Science, Interdisciplinary Art): Eliana plans to attend graduate school and pursue a career in developmental neuroscience.

Elizabeth Na (Undergraduate Research Assistant: Psychology): Elizabeth plans to attend graduate school or a physician assistant program to pursue a career focusing on children. er focusing on children

Bhumy Patel (Undergraduate Research Assistant: Psychology): Bhumy plans to take 1-2 gap years to attend graduate school before attending medical school to become a physician.

Brinkley Abney (Independent Scholar): Brinkley recently earned a Ph.D. in sticks and is now doing an AKC-funded postdoctoral fellowship building his expertise on state-of-the-art squirrel chasing techniques.
